The CryoProbe is a precise pen-like device that treats benign skin lesions including: skin tags, benign moles, solar lentigines etc. using liquid nitrogen. The treatment is quick and not particularly uncomfortable.
It uses pinpoint accuracy, allowing us to treat a lesion from 1mm-15mm in size. We are able to freeze the lesion, which then forms a scab and will fall off within 1-3 weeks. Most lesions need 1-3 treatments.
What to Expect
- You will experience minimal discomfort during and post treatment for a few hours.
- The lesion will scab up within a few days.
- Do not pick, rub or scratch the area.
- Avoid any actives on the area. (i.e. retinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, vitamin C, exfoliants etc.) in the area until the lesion completely falls off and the area looks healed.
- The lesion will scab up after day 3 and fall off between 1-3 weeks time.
